About Split PDF

Splitting a PDF is useful when you only need one chapter, one form, or a few pages from a long document. This tool gives you two ways to split: every page as its own PDF file, or one split point that divides the document into two parts.

All processing happens in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded, so private documents stay private, and there is no watermark on the results.

How to use it

  1. Choose your PDF file.
  2. Pick a split mode - each page separately, or two parts after a page you choose.
  3. Press Split & Download. If your browser asks about multiple downloads, allow it.

Frequently asked questions

Choose the Each page as its own PDF mode. Every page downloads as its own file, named page-1.pdf, page-2.pdf and so on.

Choose the two-part mode and enter the page number to split after. Pages up to that number go into part 1, the rest into part 2.

Why does my browser ask about multiple downloads?

Browsers ask permission when a page downloads several files at once. Allow it once and all split pages will download.

Are my PDFs uploaded?
